La maison St Leu is situated in the heart of Landes forest, just outside the village of Lencouacq.
The nearest large town is Roquefort, which has a full range of shops and a Saturday market.
Mont de Marsan is 20 minutes away and Bordeaux an hour and a half drive.
The Atlantic Coast beach, Biarritz to Mimizan, some 100km in distance, is less than an hour from Lencouacq.
With its breakers, it is a mecca for surfers.
